Naoko Miyazaki

Bron in Japan in 1975,
Naoko moved to the United Kingdom in 1999, in order to pursue her dream of becoming an artist.
She studied at the Chelsea University of Arts, and stayed in London where she energetically continued producing and exposing works.
On 28th April 2011 Naoko Miyazaki was involved in a tragic traffic accident in London city.

She developed her personal and unique style, mostly working with paper, the most pure and intimate material she could think of.
An extract of Naoko 'on paper': "Paper is a delicate existence, half solid and half air, or you may say it mostly air held by fibres.
I feel perhaps, paper connects our tangible world and the world of the invisible and unknown –a connection between physical and spiritual."
